I have officially eaten a kangaroo! (oct. 6)

Well hello everybody!

Things here have been pretty amazing this week. I was really worried last night that we wouldn't be able to meet our goals for the week, because the work has just been a little interrupted as we've had some unexpected opportunities to do service.  It was great though, and we were able to find a family that we are going to try and teach through it!

Last night we found 3 investigators in 1 night! We were invited to have lunch with 1 member family, and they invited their non member inlaws to come.  We were able to share a powerful message and they really appreciated it and asked us to come back in the future.  They aren't officially investigators because we didn't set a specific return appointment but the members are excited to keep working with them.  Then we had a dinner appointment where the members invited emily (our recent convert), Nikki (our baptismal date), and Chris (a non member) and we were able to teach about faith.  The members have been working with Chris for years and they really didn't think that he would even stay to hear the message but he did and then he asked to see us next sunday! So next week the members will feed him dinner agian, and then we will come after the meal and share our message.  THE LORD IS PREPARING PEOPLE!
This ward is amazing, nobody invites us over for dinner with out letting there be at least a less active, a non member, or asking if Emily can come as well.  I love how the work is not just ours in this ward, but we are ALL doing the Lord's will.  Yesterday, Sister Hancock and Sister Bates (our mini missionary) and I were able to teach High Priests about how they can do missionary work.   The spirit was so strong and there wasn't an eye that was dry.
I LOVE THIS WORK!

This morning we were able to go teach a south african man who was a referral from missionaries in the air port who met him on his way to perth 3 days ago. It was an amazing experiance and we shared about the Prophet and general conference. When we told him that the Prophet of the Lord is going to be speaking to the whole world this saturday he said "OH WOW THAT IS WONDERFUL!" and if he's not working he will come with us.  His wife has met missionaries in the past and was a little standoffish to us at first but when we started sharing about Jospeh's experiance the spirit softened her up. I really love them and hope that they come into the gospel!

I love all of you!

xoxo
Sister Wyatt
