flat out. (september 1)

Well hello world :) how nice it is to be out and about today!
so this last week consisted of monday... p day!
tuesday... sister payze was sick we stayed in the flat ALL day
wednesday... sister payze was still sick and we only left the flat to go to the doctor
thursday... sister payze woke up feeling a little bit better so we decided to ride our bikes to the temple to do weekly planning... BAD IDEA she got more sick than before and we had to call the district leader to come pick us up and take us back to the flat. (note to all future sister missionaries... if you become ill on your mission just take a day and seriously rest... because if you try to be "superman" and just push through it you get more sick and then make your companionship suffer mroe) we got a call from president lindsay telling us that if he found out that we left the flat before she was healed that he would be "very disappointed in us" s
friday... sister payze was still really sick we stayed in all day
saturday... still sick.... at this point i was going out of my mind...
sunday... WE GOT TO GO TO CHURCH! I was so excited when we got the ok to go on Saturday night that I couldn't sleep. hahahah
ok but this week wasn't a total bust because even though i was in the flat the whole time I was able to use the time to really go through our area book and update all our records and find some really great former investigators that we are going to follow up with! Our sister training leaders have been AWESOME! they knew that I was dying so any chance they had they would come and do splits with me one would stay with sister payze and the other would let me go out tracting, or do some follow ups. On Thursday me and Sister Terripia (from Tahiti) went to go follow up with this former family from like 7 years ago. I had like hard core butterflies as we walked up to do the door because I had been praying ALL day that their hearts would be softened and we would be able to teach them again.  When they answered they were REALLY nice and told us that we could come back on Saturday afternoon. I made the appointment planning that Sister Payze would be better by then. Unfortunately she was still out of commission on Saturday so we had to reschedule for later this week. But it just goes to show that Heavenly Father is FULL of miracles and he really is aware of us.
Even though this week has been REALLY really hard for me I have learned to get over myself. To be more Christlike and to serve. It's been hard, and I've had moments where I'll be honest I had a really bad attitude, but that didn't do anything for me but make me more miserable so I decided to change my attitude and just love my companion and be grateful for the extra study time.
It really helped!

There is nothing that the atonement can't heal or change for us. When we focus more on the Savior and more on his atonement and changing our will to his, we become the beautiful children of god that we are destined to become.  I have felt my divine nature so strongly this week. When we remember who we really are everything becomes so much easier. missionary work. loving others. being an example. because we are remembering who is our father, the creator of the universe. any way i've had a lot of time this week to think about this and I don't really feel like words can express it correctly.
but I love all of you! Be strong!

xoxo
Sister Wyatt
