well hello family!
this week has been crazy! we have done so much... sister training leader stuff aka DRIVING! So on Wednesday we drove back up to northom because we taught two young boys the day of grace's baptism and they were VERY receptive and they were staying with their grandparents but when they went home they didn't know if they would be able to receive the missionaries when they went back home because their mom's fiance is pretty anti. So we went and taught them and it was the best best best lesson ever! hopefully it will help them until they are old enough to make their own decisions. But then we found out that we didn't have as many k's as we thought we did so we had to book it home and not use the car.. it was so funny! they elder's were ticked because we drive them everywhere since they can't drive and we had to tell them that we couldn't do that any more so then they called the AP's and pulled some strings. It was great :) so now we have more k's and can keep our lesson count UP! WOO!
On Friday we got a call from the AP's and they as usual were
calling to make our life quite interesting (you remember last time they
called we got to have sister atkinson come and stay with us right?) well
they were like sister robbins has to go home for medical reasons so we
need you to drive to como and get her and sister donaldson and then you
are going to be in a trio for the rest of the transfer. AWESOME! it was
crazy though because we were just heading out to go do exchanges with
sister latulipe (my mission bff) and sister parsons. SOOOOO we drove
and exchanged and then sister simon and sister parsons went and got
sister robbins and sister donaldson. they basically spent the entire
exchange driving people places but me and sister latulipe were able to
teach like 7 lessons and contact like 45 people and have just a great
time! I LOVE THAT GIRL! She is so cool she is a convert to the church of
about 3 years. she was raised by her grandparents in a not good
environment (she's samoan) and was like a heavy drinker and then she had
a mormon friend and then she just decided to change her life and get
baptized. she saved up her money and then came on a mission SHE'S SO
COOL! we have so much fun together because both of us are really bold
and blunt. We have been praying that we can be companions next transfer
and in my email to president i told him that i wouldn't even be mad if
he put us together but we both wanted to do what heavenly father wants
us to do. Hopefully it is because that would just be so much fun and we
would just work so hard :) crossing our fingers :) this week has been crazy! we have done so much... sister training leader stuff aka DRIVING!
