heaps and heaps and heaps (May 12)

G'day from Midland!
So I finally made it here to Australia! It only took 23 hours of flying right? In the words of the aussies... that's heaps of flying.
my companion is Sister Simon, she's from Melborne Australia... I'll find out all the details that flip needs to know before he leaves (but she's a kiwi... meaning she's a new Zealand native).  She's 29 and LOVES the gospel.  She's also really good at art, I think that we will get along great.
There is heaps of work to do here in Western Australia, there are just under 150 missionaries and a huge land mass to cover.  In the past the Australia Perth Mission has been known as the Australian Party Mission so President is working really hard to transform our mission and move it forward. It's really exciting to be a missionary in Western Australia right now.
I think that I am finally starting to get over the jet lag.  At first when I got here I kept falling asleep during lessons and at the dinner table (ya that's totes embarrassing).  It's pretty cold here in the evenings so today I'm going to buy some tights, that's something I really didn't think I would need here!
As a mission we are reading the Book of Mormon. We are marking every reference to Jesus Christ that we read.  It's been a really cool experience to see that you can't go more than a couple of verses before they talk about the Savior.  I LOVE the book of mormon! It's by far the best book I've ever read.
I can't wait to write next week and tell you guys all about the progress we are making here :)
love you forever :)
Sister Wyatt
