i'm a princess and i like to twirl

it's been a while since i've done a favorite friday post.... but this week i have seriously been so grateful for something that i really could never change (nice to be grateful for those things right?) i am so happy that i am a girl! maybe that's a weird thing to be grateful for but now more than ever i have come to realize how much my heavenly father loves me and has placed so much trust in me as one of his daughters.

it's no secret that i am obsessed with girls knowing how special they are (remember this post?) i just think that each girl has so much influence, power, and potential. as i am getting ready to serve in australia i have become so aware of how much my heavenly father loves me. he knew that i needed to serve english speaking, he knew that australia is the perfect place for me to serve (i may or may not have watched the movie australia and fallen in love with it... possibly may be my new favorite movie ever) and that there are people there who need me... kalli wyatt... some girl from bountiful utah who hardly knows anything about life but has something important to offer that only i CAN offer, it's unique to me.

the amazing thing is every single girl (or boy... they are special too) has her own australia. every girl has the potential to become who heavenly father wants them to become. every girl is a princess with her own journey to embark on and dragons to fight. i am so grateful that heavenly father trusts me to help his children. so today that is my favorite. and let's be honest it's just really fun to be a girl i love painting my nails, doing my hair, wearing good smelling lotion, wearing pink cloths, wearing cute skirts, and earrings, and necklaces, and mascara, and being pretty and wearing headbands.... i just REALLY love being a girl SO much! it is my favorite that i have so much to offer and that i am a princess and yes i really really really do like to twirl.
