there is no such thing as perfect looking streamers

so i made it to logan! WOOO! somehow me and amelia aspen were able to fit both of our stuff in her teeny tiny car and were only 35 minutes late to the meeting... ooops.

after talking everything over with katie, and getting a cool new cup, clipboard, name tag, necklace, 2 shirts, and all sorts of forms.... it was official retreat had begun.

i spent the rest of the night hanging up my decorations in the hallway, and in their rooms (which by the way those perfectly hung streamers you see on tv do not actually exist, they are an illusion that is probably air brushed onto the scene or something jut fyi).  and of course practicing the dance that we are gonna teach the girls tomorrow.

here is a little sneak peak of my decorations (i don't have any pictures of the inside of the girls rooms because i left the keys to their rooms downstairs when i went upstairs to take pictures and i was too lazy to go down and get them so those pictures will have to come later)

tomorrow i will add the gold glitter star name tags and then put them on the doors!


after getting the decorations done i unpacked my room and made it all homey and such.  nothing like a bazzziolion pictures frames, and your favorite quilt to do that.

we have the best head counselors to remember to bring cute flowers for our coffee table since it will never get to have a cup of coffee on it. 

once i was all unpacked i had a great time getting to know some of the other counselors that are staying in the same apartment as me.  nomi and i had a great time telling room mate horror stories and freaking out about tomorrow!

now i'm off to make a playlist for my girls tomorrow and to pray and to study my devotional for tomorrow night and to pray some more! GAH everything is happening... people this. is. real.
