when i was a little girl my dad was in medical school. i can remember hanging out with him while my mom was at work. i also remember how much fun we would have together with big red, and walking to rocket stop to get a kit kat bar. my favorite movie in the whole world has to be A Little Princess, and my parents got that movie for me when i turned 3 or 4 years old. i can remember sitting on my dad's lap and watching that movie. as i have gotten older whenever i watch that movie i am reminded of the special bond between fathers and daughters. my dad is not perfect, nobody is. but my dad is the best dad for me. even if he teases me, and bothers me, and pesters me, he is my dad and i wouldn't ever want any one else. that sounds really cliche but i think you can only understand it if you have been a daughter. a little girl (even if she is 20 years old) needs a dad and heavenly father gives us just the right one for the job. so here is a little bit about my dad (and if you ever have the privilege of meeting him i would recommend you take a second and just talk to him, i promise you won't be disappointed)
my dad is probably the hardest worker i know.
my dad never claims to be perfect, but he tries every day to be better.
my dad has the biggest heart of anyone i know.
my dad is the most generous person i know.
my dad laughs harder in movies than any person i know.
my dad has the quirkiest sense of humor, that i love!
my dad sometimes comes up with the weirdest ideas, but they all are so our family can be together.
my dad is super adventurous.
my dad is the dad of 5 girls.
my dad loves the gospel.
my dad has GREAT hair.
my dad is a fantastic basketball player.
my dad is pro a fixing/making/riding a bike.
my dad never gives up.
my dad is survivor.
my dad loves me.
my dad gives great advice.
my dad always wants what is best for me.
my dad is amazing.
i couldn't make it through my life without my rock (my family) and my dad is a key part of that. if things aren't right with my dad my whole day is off. and even though i don't live at home any more there is not a day that goes by where i don't think of him and wonder how his day was.
i love you daddy thanks for everything that you do!
