1. my sisters: today was my little sister Quinci's birthday and yesterday i was able to spend the day with them. Quinci is hilarious and she is just so excited to be growing up. i wish she could just stay little forever. i remember when she turned 3 and had a dora the explorer birthday party and i had to dress up as swiper the fox.... it was precious. i love hanging out with them and even though we are always arguing we always manage to find some random thing to entertain us. <3 <3 <3
2. my parents who always believe in me. even though i have so much to work on and sometimes i let them down my parents are probably my biggest cheer leaders. they have a lot to deal with right now but both of them are always willing to listen to me vent to them or share with them whatever i am feeling at that moment. they are probably my best friends... but really.
3. my room mates. they are crazy... they crack me up... they are my family away from home.... they drive me crazy sometimes but mostly we are just best friends always.... i'm going to miss them when we all move later this week.... we work out together sometimes.... sometimes we study... but mostly we just make each other laugh
4. my school i am so blessed to be able to go to the most amazing university in the world. there really is no place like it. sure sometimes the whole mormon stereo type drives me crazy... and it is crazy competitive....and sometimes i wish i could just drop out and become a beach hobo... but i can't imagine myself being anywhere better for me
5. my job.... working at the MTC is one of the biggest blessings in my entire life. the people that i work with are amazing, we are like a little family there. Bev and Margene are like my adopted grandmas... or mom's i can't decide if they are old enough to be my grandmas.... but working there has changed my life forever <3
5. the gospel i don't know how i would have delt with everything that has happened to me in my life with out the gospel. it has taught me how to forgive.... how to be a better person... and how every day is a new chance for me to make a difference in the world. the atonement of our Savior is something that everyday i learn something new about and i find another way to apply it to my life.
6. the jarmans.... i try not to go on too much about michael (but lets be honest he's in a lot of posts) but he and his whole family have changed my life. next to my own family i am closest to them. i love it when michael's sisters text me or i am able to stop in and visit them when i am in bountiful. the whole family is getting ready to go to the Nauvoo patent in July where they get to be missionaries and share the gospel for about 3 weeks! cool right?! but i love the way they tease me and just treat me like a sister i love all of them <3
tonight i was feeling a little disappointed in myself, but when i took a step back and looked at everything that i have to be grateful and everyone that is cheering for me there was no way i was able to stay in that mopey mood. happy monday everybody! .... actually i guess it's tuesday now.... woo i'm gonna go to bed!
xoxoxo
